The DAEDALUS research catamaran is setting sail for her summer campaign.
The scheduled activity includes a first period of sea mounts investigation for biological studies. The top of the following sea mounts will be surveyed: mount BARONIE in Sardinia, mounts CIALDI and ETRUSCHI south of Giglio island, mounts TIBERINO and ALBANO off the Lazio coast and finally a dive to the SPINOLA SPUR 1900 m deep in the Ligurian sea.
In August and September DAEDALUS will be sailing in the Tuscany islands area ready for an unusual archaeological campaign.
